Annual Events

April Porch Party
Earlewood is known for its great front porches where residents enjoy hanging out and visiting with their friends. The first Earlewood Porch Party will be held in April of 2009, and we hope this will begin an annual tradition. Several people on a block open their porches and people go from one porch to another meeting others that live in the neighborhood. Grills are provided for people to cook hamburgers or hotdogs.

May Flea Market & Plant Sale
Each May Earlewood has a Flea Market and Plant Sale. Residents participate by selling or buying at the Flea Market. Gardening enthusiasts look forward to the Earlewood plant sale and the large selection of flowers and herbs. The event is held in the parking lot of Reformation Lutheran Church. Click here for this year's event info.

National Night Out
The first Monday in August Earlewood residents join other communities in Columbia and across the nation to spend an evening with neighbors and police to promote unity against crime with National Night Out at Earlewood Park.

Thanksgiving Dinner
Each November there is a neighborhood “pot-luck” Thanksgiving Dinner at Reformation Lutheran. ECCO provides the turkey and dressing and residents bring a favorite dish.

Holiday Party
The Earlewood Holiday Party is held the third Thursday of December. The event is usually held in the home of a resident. All Earlewood residents are invited to attend and celebrate the holidays with their neighbors.
